THE HAM FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

The HAM fundraising committee was set up in 2004 and consists of a group of families living within the surrounding areas of Outwood, Redhill, Godstone and Horley. Two of the young people within the group - Karli Broadbent, at the time aged 19, and Danny Scott, then aged 17, had both undergone intensive treatment for cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton. It was for this reason we decided to raise money to help other young people in a similar situation, to try and help make their time spent in hospital more comfortable and hopefully less traumatic.
